This is the original logo of the Tandem Club of America, designed in September 1976 by Malcolm Boyd, the founding editor of the TCA’s newsletter, DoubleTalk. Someone in the 1979 ETR organization spotted it and had it added to this commemorative photograph, the first of a series of group photographs of ETR attendees. Other than (for some years) an overlap in volunteers, the TCA and ETR are not formally connected as organizations.
