Eastern Tandem Rally sponsors up to four rallies per year.  Our two premier rallies are featured on the main menu above.

Spring Thaw, co-sponsored by Potomac Pedalers, is not exclusively a tandem rally, but always has a very large tandem presence attracted to its flat terrain on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

The Eastern Tandem Off Road (ETOR) rally, held off and on since 1990, has alternated between March, and October-November dates.  Compared to our road rallies, ETOR is generally a very small rally, exclusively for those of us that think the best riding occurs when you leave the pavement behind on a twicer. Some venues are good for testing out ones’ predilection for off-road and introducing new teams to off-road; those venues can be ridden on a ‘cross or mountain bike setup. Other venues, such as the Pine Barrens sandy tracts, demand wide knobbies.
