Area Restaurants

Saratoga Springs offers many wonderful dining options just a short walk from the Holiday Inn.
Check out the options listed on Discover Saratoga's online Dining Guide. Some of our personal favorites include:

  • 15 Church A favorite of Saratoga’s foodies and folks who want a fine dining experience.
  • Morrissey’s Lounge & Bistro Located in the Adelphi, Saratoga’s oldest and now
swankiest hotel, Morrissey’s is known for its signature burgers, Carnegie Deli
sandwiches, the freshest sushi in Saratoga, wood-fired pizzas, craft beers & cocktails,
and lite fare in the glass conservatory or iconic bar & lounge. If you’re up for people
watching, you can’t beat Morrissey’s Broadway patio.
  • Hattie's Restaurant For an authentic Saratoga experience, nothing beats Hattie’s.
Founded by the legendary Miss Hattie Moseley Austin Gray in 1938, this Saratoga
landmark began life as Hattie’s Chicken Shack. Known to this day for its melt-in-your
mouth fried chicken, Hattie’s serves up Southern classics such as key lime pie and soulful
dishes such as jambalaya and chicken and waffles.

Local Bike Shops

Things to Do in the Area

Check out Discover Saratoga’s list of things to do in Saratoga. Here are a few of our favorites:

  • Congress Park: Located just steps away from the Holiday Inn, Congress Park, in our
opinion, is one of the loveliest small city parks in the U.S. Once the site of the city’s
massive Congress Hotel, the park boasts the historic Canfield Casino and Saratoga
History Museum, the Spirit of Life and Spit and Spat sculptures, an authentic working
carousel, ornamental ponds and gardens, and an ever-present colony of ducks that are
    often seen waddling up Broadway.
  • Downtown Saratoga: Named one of America’s Most Beautiful Small Cities in countless
magazines, Saratoga Springs is a walker’s paradise. You’ll find quaint shops; well-known
chains such as The Gap, Athleta, Chicos, and The Loft; outdoor outfitters, three
independent bookstores; art galleries; day spas and hair salons; and a great selection of
cafes, tea and coffee shops, restaurants and pubs.
  • Long before horse racing came to Saratoga Springs, generations of Native Americans
revered the land that is now Saratoga Spa State Park for its healing springs. You could
easily spend a day exploring the springs, lush woods, historic baths, or taking a guided
tour of the park buildings and its many geological points of interest. If you have the
time, we recommend making an appointment for a therapeutic bath at the historic
Roosevelt Baths and Spa before you arrive in Saratoga. The park is also home to the
Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), including the recently renovated Spa Little
    Theater.
