ETR 2013 will be hosted at the Somerset Hills Hotel<\/a>
\nWarren, New Jersey – August 2 to 4.<\/h2>\n

This year’s Eastern Tandem Rally will be hosted by the Doubles of the Garden State (DOGS) club and starts on Friday, August 2, 2013.<\/p>\n

As a pre-rally event, we will also offer a number of guided rides on Thursday afternoon (that you may take guided or on your own) from the town of Pluckemin, a short distance from the hotel.<\/p>\n

On Friday, we will ride from Four Sisters Winery in Belvidere, NJ.\u00a0 It is just under an hour drive from Warren — far, but worth the trip.\u00a0 If you are not coming on Thursday, then we encourage you to come directly to the ride, especially if you are traveling from the north or west. The roads around the winery are among the least traveled, yet prettiest roads in the state.\u00a0 After a choice of a 24 or 40 mile ride, we will all convene at the winery for an afternoon lunch, with free wine tastings and tours.\u00a0 Then it’s over to the hotel where we will host an Ice Cream Social. Saturday and Sunday’s rides will convene from the Somerset Hills Hotel, 200 Liberty Corner Road, Warren, New Jersey.\u00a0 You can see more information on the itinerary<\/a> tab.<\/p>\n

Warren is in Northern New Jersey.\u00a0 As many of you know, Northern New Jersey terrain is NOT FLAT!\u00a0 We will do our best to route the shorter rides as flat as possible, but you just can’t get the hills out of the area — and you wouldn’t want to!\u00a0 The riding in the area is spectacular.\u00a0 We have everything from farms, to wildlife preserves to mansions.\u00a0 You can check out the elevation changes on the Routes\u00a0 and Elevation Profile tabs.<\/p>\n
